Old I Say Thee Nay!

Stupid links, random comments, and occasionally even sustained insight.

Checking my RSS stats, I can see someone's collecting this with livejournal. So I'm curious... who is it? And how does it work? (Friends list? Something internal that no one else sees?)

That would be me. Uh... you don't know me or anything (you were my TA for CS 134 and 241, and I came across your site one day), but yeah. Basically, Livejournal RSS feeds function similarly to a Livejournal account - they can be added to anyone's friends list and therefore your posts show up on mine. I'm inherently lazy and thus like having everything in one place. :) Here's the LJ version of your site:

No worries. Hell, I'm lazy too. I use bloglines to grab peoples RSS feeds.

(of course, this begs the question - where's YOUR livejournal? :P)

My LJ is 'ywingempress' - it's friends-only. My more public journal is at http://www.ywing.net/blog/. :)

Raymond - In general, it's me hitting everyone's RSS feed.

Amy - Glasses, tended to answer correctly after a decently long pause when I randomly picked on you? And you were in my OS class? Izzat right, or am I gonna delete this post?

Yeah, that would be me. :) It still weirds me out that my non-coop-ness allowed me to 'catch up' to a bunch of my TAs. ;)
