Computer: Up.
Down time: Approximately two weeks.
Amount of work accomplished without computer: Quite a bit.
Productivity now that computer's back: Already horrible. I was gonna go to bed an hour ago...

My computer is on life support. Hello update from the lab! It seems to have happened due to the constant brownouts a couple of nights ago... maybe I'll fix it soon. Maybe.

Until then, try phoning me at 572-1376 instead. And if I'm on ICQ or something, then I'm definitely at the computer, since it won't be mine with it's little constantly on dealie.

Yeah, that's it.

Here's what I did today:

OS Assignment in the lab, stubbornly refusing to switch computers despite the fact the one I was using had an unfortunate tendency to turn off when I stood up. Yes, stand. No, I did not jiggle a cord or anything, I stood up, without touching anything, and the electromagnetic energy or something turned the bastard off. Sigh. Guess who screamed in the lab.

But it's done, and that's what's important.

I'm delivered to my door by Alison and Cressa, and upon entering, am promptly informed by Ernie, James and Zach that we're going to see the Matrix Revolutions. Concordantly, I decided to go.

My thoughts? I think I like it the best. I mean, I know that the original is the best of the bunch. It introduced new-to-Hollywood concepts and ideas, and wrapped it in genuinely interesting science fiction. But DAMMIT, do things blow up PURTY in Revolutions.

My thoughts on the second one remain unchanged (see June 9).

My two newest e-mails: one from amazon.ca advertising used stuff, and one from ebay.ca for BRAND NEW stuff. This amused me, considering their purposes.

So I bought Finding Nemo from Future Shop today... got me a little stuffed Nemo with it. Gave it to Alison for her birthday (Happy Birthday!...erm, again!), along with some other stuff.

Currently, I'm at home, since I forgot my fun fun resume packages. Whoo continuous. Sigh.

Now with Actual Loggy Stuff! What's the world coming to?

Yesterday I went to lunch with my Mom, my aunt Nenette, and my cousin Geminese in St. Jacob's. My aunt came down from Calgary on a business trip, and visited with family while she was here. So lunch was good, although it was followed by being dragged around to all the stores in St. Jacobs which sold miscellaneous crap, remarking that I'd kill myself if I had to work in a Christmas store for more than a week. Afterwards was the Math Frosh Leader Reunion - old Math Frosh Leaders talking about old times and such - in the Comfy Lounge. Not ever having been a Frosh leader, I waited outside for them to finish with the MathSoc projector, which is my superfun responsibility. I also tried to print the CS 341 notes in anticipation of the midterm tomorrow, but failed miserably due to the technical difficulties currently plaguing CAS accounts.

Most of today was TV watching. Nondescrept football games - the Bills have a bye week. After watching the Simpson's Halloween Special today, I will only comment that the bit with Kang and Kodos was the best part of the episode.

That's about it. So, yeah, one of them "I did this, then this, then that" posts. Although I don't think I've ever really done one before...
